The ground floor cottage is suitable for disabled and is advertised in RADAR. It is called The Mistal and will accommodate 7 people. The Loft is approached by barn steps. Both are self contained with two bedrooms containing one double and one single beds. The Mistal has 2 extra alcove beds. Each has an attractive lounge with mullioned windows and colour TV. There is a kitchen and a bathroom with toilet, shower and wash basin. Weekly terms range from £60 to £180. Group self-catering for 12-15 available Oct-March. £60 a day. 

Guests frequently return every year some have done so for 20 years. Cottages are used, too, by those visiting Mainline Border Collie Centre.

The property is covenanted to The National Trust and the 450 years of history can be found in my autobiography, "We'll see the cuckoo" and its sequel We'll Trace the rainbow".
